Each student is required to work a minimum of 20 hours each week. Students may not work over 30 paid hours each week.

No, students do not need to have previous experience working in the lab. Our program is actually geared towards students with no prior lab experience.

What does the program consist of daily?

Each student's daily schedule will be based on what lab they are assigned to work in. Each week students will also attend a Career Development Seminars where they learn about potential careers in STEM. Check out what our past participants thought about the program!

“I liked that I could experience a research lab first-hand”

“I think it’s great students get to get a taste of exactly what they want to do in college”

"Anyone interested in science would be stupid not to partake in LSP, the experience is second to none."

“I like the opportunity it gives to those who desire to work within a science field. That alone already makes the program highly academic.”

“It was really neat to hear from a variety of people in different places career wise during the professional development panel, and share about how they got where they are.”
